아키후드 건축은 강우현, 강영진에 의해 2013년부터 서울에서 활동을 시작한 사무소이다. arhihood는 architecture와 neighborhood의 조합으로 이웃같이 친근한 건축을 추구하는 젊은 건축가 집단이다. 건축부터 인테리어, 가구, 조명까지 다양한 분야의 디자인 작업을 하고 있으며, 대표작으로는 복정동 셰어하우스 ‘틈틈집’과 충주 ‘하얀민들레 농원’ 등이 있다. 2015년에는 한국건축문화대상과 신진건축사대상을 2016 년에는 한국농촌건축대전, 충주시 아름다운 건축물 최우수상을 수상한 바 있다.
Archihood WxY is located in Seoul, Korea and was founded in 2013 by two young and creative architects; Woohyun-Kang and Youngjin-Kang. The company name comes from a combination of two words, architecture and neighbourhood. Its design philosophy is to povide good and friendly design for everyone so as to help the feel and widespread the sense of neighbourhood. Archihood WXY works in various fields of design such as architecture, interior, furniture and lighting. Its recent works include Gap house(Seongnam, 2015) and Korean dandelion farm(Chungju, 2015), all in South Korea. It also received the Korean architecture award and the Korean rising architect award in 2015.
