운생동건축사사무소 Unsangdong Architects Cooperation는 건축의 문화적 콘텐츠로서의 가능성을 실현하기 위해 다양한 건축적 실험을 하는 건축가 집단이다. 운생동건축사사무소는 2007년, 세계적으로 유명한 국제 건축상인 Architectural Review 에서 수상하는 AR Award를 수상하였고, 2006년에는 미국 저명한 저널인 Architectural Record에서 세계에서 혁신적인 건축가에게 수여하는 Vanguard Award를 수상하기도 했다.
Unsangdong Architects Cooperation is the experimental group organized to realize conceptual architecture with vInnoDBble possibilities of cultural contents. The main research and project of Unsangdong is based on the diversity of architecture. In the nearest 2007, Unsangdong received AR Awards from Architectural Review which is world-famous architectural award. Unsangdong received Vanguard Award from Architectural Record that is awarded to innovative architect in the world in 2006.

건축가 장윤규는 서울대 건축과 및 동 대학원을 졸업했다. 현재 ‘운생동건축가그룹’ 대표, 국민대 건축대학 교수, ‘갤러리정미소’ 대표로 활동하고 있다. 주요 건축 작품으로 금호복합문화공간 크링, 예화랑, 서울대 건축대학, 홍익대 대학로캠퍼스, 파주출판단지의 생능출판사, 광주 디자인센터, 이집트 대사관 등이 있다. 세계적인 건축상인 AR Award 와 뱅가드상을 비롯해 2008년 한국공간디자인대상 대상, 대한민국 우수디자인(GD) 국무총리상, 서울시건축상 등을 받았다.
Jang Yoon Gyoo was born in 1964. Graduated in Architecture from Seoul National University and its graduated school. Awarded in Shinkenchiku Takiron International Competition. UIA Barcelona International Design Competition and nominated one of 13 Finalists Israel Rabin Peace Plaza International competition. He was selected one of 40 noteworthy international architects by Japanese Journal ’10+1′. Presently a professor at the school of architecture. KookMin University, and a representative of Gallery Jungmiso as establishment to extend cultural codes passing over architecture. Also leading a new architectural experiment by changing the atelier Jang Yoon Gyoo for theory & experimentation to the Unsangdong Architects Cooperation.
신창훈 Changhoon Shin | 공동 대표, 책임건축가 Principal of Unsangdong Architects Cooperation
건축가 그룹 운생동의 공동대표인 신창훈은 영남대학교 건축공학과를 졸업하고 서울시립대학교 건축대학원을 졸업하였다. 아르텍건축, 범건축, 힘마건축에서 실무 경험을 쌓았다. 장윤규와 함께 실험건축, 개념적 건축을 실현하기 위해서 건축가 그룹 운생동을 결성하여 예화랑, 서울시립대 종합강의동, KRING, 성수문화복지회관, 청심물문화관 등 다각적 작업을 진행하고 있다. 현재 서울시립대 건축학과 겸임교수, 서울시 공공건축가로 활동하고 있다.
Shin Chang Hoon graduated in Architecture engineering from YeungNam University. Received architectural training at Artech Architects, Baum Architects and Himma Architects. Organized Unsangdong an Architects’ group, with Yoon Gyoo Jang. Works to actualize architectural constructs through works such as the NamJune Paik Museum, the planning of the GwangJu Biennale Square, Multilecture Hall in Seoul University and KT&G complex building.
