윤 주 연 Jooyoun Yoon | 대표, 책임건축가
윤주연은 대한민국 출신의 건축가로 이화여자 대학교와 베를라헤 건축학교에서 건축과 도시설계를 전공했다.
한국의 간삼건축, 네델란드의 OMA, UNStudio, 북경의 MAD Architects 의 하이엔드 디자인회사에서 실무를 쌓으며 유럽과 아시아에 다양한 스케일과 단계의 건축과 도시 프로젝트에 참여해왔다.
리서치와 현실 프로젝트에 대한 균형잡힌 배경을 바탕으로 ‘적정건축’을 설립하여 적정기술로 만든 공간에 대한 관심을 가지고 작업하며, 이화여자대학교와 서울시립대 겸임교수로 학생들을 지도하고 있다.
Jooyoun Yoon is an architect and urbanist South Korea.
She has worked on a number of architectural designs and master plan projects at Gansam Partners in Seoul, Korean, after obtaining her dual bachelor degrees in architecture and history of art from Ewha Womans University.
She participated in various urban and architectural research projects in ‘The Berlage’, a center for advanced architecture and unban studies’ at Technical University at Delft , in the Netherlands from 2011 to 2013.
Her research interets at the Berlage include public space, perception of space, architype and housing contemporary forms of life. After the Berlage, she continuced her practice at OMA (Rotterdam) and UNStudio (Amsterdam), and she has collaborated ambitious projects in Doha, Shanhai, Vienna and Seoul.
She founded OfAA in 2015 in Rotterdam and Seoul and has engaged in various projects. She is currently teaching architecture at University of Seoul and Ewha Womans University.
