one-aftr는 서울과 뉴욕을 기반으로 한 건축사무소이다. 2020년에 마준혁 소장과 안미륵 소장이 설립했으며, 이들은 설립 이전 OMA와 Studio Libeskind에서 실무 경험을 쌓았다. one-aftr는 각 프로젝트의 문화적, 공간적 그리고 자연적 요소들을 세밀한 관찰을 통해 공공에게 긍정적인 경험을 제공하는 건축을 추구한다. one-aftr에게 새로움은 단순한 형태적인 변화가 아닌, 기존의 자연적, 물질적 요소들을 효과적으로 활용하여 공간에 새로운 의미와 가치를 부여해 주는 것이다.

one-aftr was formed in 2020 by Joon Ma and Ryu Ahn with the mission to create a collective good experience in space. We use the vagueness of ‘good’ as a driving force of our inquiries. We make sense of what surrounds us through measured observation of everyday life and through the viewpoint of other fields. We experiment with ways of working in defining the ‘good’ through writing, making, curating, and building.

데이비드슨 칼리지에서 인류학 학사학위를 받은 후 프린스턴 대학교에서 건축학 석사학위를 받았다. one-aftr 설립 이전에는 OMA/AMO에서 실무 경험을 쌓았다. 시라큐스와 버지니아 대학교에 출강했으며 현재 연세대학교 겸임교수다.

Joon Ma is a designer, educator, and co-founder of one-aftr. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Davidson College and a Master of Architecture from Princeton University. Prior to founding one-aftr, he worked at OMA/AMO Rotterdam. He previously taught at Virginia Tech and Syracuse University. He is currently an adjunct professor at Yonsei University.

안미륵 | 공동대표

프린스턴 대학교에서 건축학 학사학위를, 컬럼비아 대학교에서 건축학 석사학위를 받았다. one-aftr 설립 이전에 Studio Daniel Libeskind에서 실무 경험을 쌓았다. 홍익대학교 건축학과에 출강했으며 현재 국민대학교 겸임교수다. 

Ryu Ahn is a designer, educator, and co-founder of one-aftr. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Princeton University and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University. Prior to founding one-aftr, he worked at Studio Daniel Libeskind in New York City. He previously taught at Hongik University and is currently an adjunct professor at Kookmin University.
