베트남에 위치한 트로피컬 스페이스는 쩐 티 응우 응온Trần Thị Ngụ Ngôn과 응우옌 하이 롱Nguyễn Hải Long이 설립한 디자인 스튜디오이다. 트로피컬 스페이스의 두 가지 주요 디자인 영향은 조각과 기후이다. 모든 것은 지역 기후에 대한 대응과 기후변화 영향을 완화하는 것으로부터 시작된다. 처음에는 실용적인 디자인 선택이었지만, 트로피컬 스페이스의 건축 스타일은 조각 형태와 단순한 모형에서 영감을 받았다. 그들의 건물은 건축가의 스타일을 반영하는 것만이 아니라 공간에 거주하는 사람들을 반영하는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 건물의 대지 위치와 주변 경관을 자세히 살펴보는 것 외에도 트로피컬 스페이스는 건축주의 이야기도 이해하고자 한다.
Located in Vietnam, Tropical Space was established by Tran Thi Ngu Ngon and Nguyen Hai Long. Their two main design influences are sculpture and climate. Everything starts with a response to the local climate and mitigating the effects of climate change. Initially, these are practical design choices but their style of architecture is inspired by sculptural forms and simple shapes. It is important that their buildings are a reflection of the people who inhabit the space, and not just a reflection of the architects. Therefore, aside from looking very closely at the site location and surrounding landscape, Tropical Space also desires to understand the story of the owners.
